Library

Vision

To provide a student-centred learning environment that facilitates transference of information and to cater to the needs of its users to access it.

Mission

  • To facilitate access to the right information at the right time in the right manner so as to produce productive citizens to this great nation in general and to our community in particular.

Strategic Goals and Objectives

  • To develop and enhance the capacity of library resources and services to meet the demands of the academic community curriculum, instructional and research programs by providing regular funding for the annual acquisition of library materials.
  • Complete automation of the library.
  • Arranging skill tests and personality development books for students who are developing reading habits.
  • Establishing the "Friends of the Library" program to strengthen the bond of the library for the custodians of the library which will be an asset in the development of the library collection.
  • To provide services that enhance knowledge and intellectual activity research.
  • Establish a strong library connection with other agencies in the country and, if possible, with agencies in foreign countries.
